What Matters

  • Health Matters

    Specialist Women’s Health GP

    Launching February 2026

We’re not your quick-stop GP for coughs, colds or vaccines. We’re here for the big stuff. The women’s health issues that deserve time, care and proper attention. At Her Matters, our GPs take the time to listen, explain and support, so you feel seen, heard and cared for at every stage of life.

Here’s what we can help with: Mental health • Sexual health and STI screens • Contraception and Implanon inserts • Fertility and pre-conception • Postnatal care • Perimenopause • Menopause • Pelvic pain • Period management • Bowel and bladder concerns • Cervical screening • Breast care • PCOS • Endometriosis

This is women’s health care done differently: modern, evidence-based, and never rushed. Because your matters deserve more than 10 minutes.

Ready to take care of your matters? Email hello@hermatters.com.au to be the first to know when bookings drop.

  • Body Matters

    WOMEN’S HEALTH PHYSIOTHERAPY

Pelvic floors, painful sex, post-baby recovery, endo, adenomyosis and PCOS flare-ups, sneaky leaks (yep, we said it) and all the body stuff that matters.

Our women’s health physio takes the awkward out of “is this normal?” and gets straight to what’s really going on. With care, kindness and a cheer-squad vibe, we’ll help you feel stronger, more comfortable, and back in charge of your body.

Pelvic pain • Painful sex • Vaginismus • Pregnancy and postpartum • Endo, adenomyosis or PCOS flare-ups • Bladder and bowel concerns

Because you deserve to sneeze, laugh, lift and live without fear

  • Motherhood Matters

    FERTILITY, PREGNANCY & POSTPARTUM CARE

    Women’s Health Physio • Dietitian • Psychologist

We’re here to support you through preconception, pregnancy and early motherhood with the care every mum deserves.

Our women’s health physio helps you prepare for pregnancy, recover after birth and manage those “is this normal?” body quirks, from pelvic floor changes and safe exercise to bladder, bowel and postnatal care.

Our dietitian supports women to conceive naturally or with IVF, and ensures you’re nourishing your body and baby every step of the way. From fertility nutrition and supplementation to pregnancy symptoms, gestational diabetes and postpartum recovery, we’ve got you covered.

Our psychologist offers a safe space to navigate the emotional ups and downs of fertility struggles, pregnancy and early motherhood, including anxiety, grief and loss, identity shifts, relationship changes and birth trauma.

From bumps to bubs (and beyond), your matters are in good hands.

    Get on board, baby

  • Mind Matters

We tune into what you need and cut through the noise with evidence-based strategies (no fluff, no judgement).

Our goal is to help you add some solid strings to your mental wellbeing, so you can mind your matters with confidence. Because looking after your mental health doesn’t mean doing it alone.

What Matters To Us

When it comes to women’s health, “one-size-fits-all?” Nope. Every woman is gloriously unique, with needs that shift through cycles, seasons and life’s curveballs. At Her Matters you don’t just get one practitioner, you get a whole squad under one roof, actually talking to each other and caring for the whole you. Skip the beige and boring. Step into bold interiors, coffee at the ready and playlists that set the vibe. Health care that actually feels good the moment you arrive. We’re done with the old women’s health rulebook. We’re rewriting it with real bodies, real stories and real care at the centre.

The Core Of The Matter — Our People

  • Georgia is an Eating Disorders Credentialed Dietitian with a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics, Graduate Diploma in Nutritional Science, and a Bachelor of Science (Psychology).

She founded Her Matters with a clear (and slightly rebellious) vision: to rewrite the women’s health rulebook. Georgia wanted to create a clinic where women could access modern, evidence based care without the cold, clinical feel. No beige waiting rooms. No awkward silences. Just connected, thoughtful care that actually feels good to walk into.

While Georgia is not currently seeing clients, her role has evolved into what she proudly calls Chief Hype Woman. She spends her days championing the team, shaping the Her Matters experience, and making sure every detail from the tone of our emails to the waiting room playlists reflects what we stand for.

Outside the clinic, Georgia is usually chasing her toddler Billie or Bernadoodle Charlie, sipping strong coffee, or dreaming up new ways to make women’s health care not just better, but something people genuinely want to talk about.

    Because women’s health matters.

  • Taleisha is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and ELNA Certified Fertility and Prenatal Dietitian, with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, FODMAP training, and is a Foundations Member of the Early Life Nutrition Alliance.

As an Early Life Dietitian, Taleisha supports nutrition from preconception through the first 1,000 days, helping families build strong foundations for lifelong health. She works with fertility (natural and IVF), pregnancy, postpartum and lactation, as well as infant feeding, allergy prevention and early childhood nutrition.

Taleisha was drawn to this work through her own journey of trying to conceive, pregnancy and early motherhood. This lived perspective shapes her calm, compassionate, evidence based approach, where food is never about perfection or restriction.

Her philosophy is simple: nutrition should be nourishing, enjoyable and sustainable. Taleisha works collaboratively with clients to build practical habits that support reproductive health, gut health, hormonal conditions such as PCOS and endometriosis, and women’s health across the lifespan.

Outside the clinic, Taleisha enjoys time outdoors with her toddler and fur baby, yoga or pilates, and good food shared with friends.

  • Rebecca (Bec) is an Eating Disorder Credentialed Dietitian and member of Dietitians Australia, with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours).

She supports people experiencing eating disorders and disordered eating with calm, compassionate, evidence based care. Bec’s work is grounded in Health At Every Size (HAES) principles and the RAVES model for eating disorder support, with additional expertise in gut health, including IBS and gentle FODMAP support.

Bec was drawn to this work through supporting a close family member with an eating disorder. Witnessing the impact of the right support shaped her passion for walking alongside others in recovery, helping them rebuild trust with food and their bodies in safe, sustainable ways.

Outside the clinic, Bec delivers high school talks on healthy eating with no diet culture and plenty of real talk. Off duty, she’s usually cooking, thrifting for vintage clothing gems, or hosting a great dinner party.

  • Leah is a Perinatal Psychologist with a Master of Applied Psychology and a Bachelor of Psychology (with Legal Studies).

She supports women through pregnancy, early motherhood and the many transitions that come with it, offering calm, compassionate, evidence based care. Leah works with a wide range of presentations including perinatal anxiety and depression, fertility challenges, grief and loss, birth trauma, parenting stress, relationship changes, trauma, family domestic violence, and identity and self worth concerns.

Leah was drawn to this work through her own experience of early motherhood, a season she found far more challenging and isolating than she ever expected. As a mum of two, she deeply understands the emotional load many women carry and creates a space where no feeling is too small, awkward or off limits.

Outside the clinic, Leah enjoys long walks with a good podcast, soaking up sunshine, and spending time with her two girls. She’s naturally curious, always learning, and never far from a personal development book.

  • Brianna is an Eating Disorders Credentialed Dietitian, Accredited Practising Dietitian, and Member of Dietitians Australia, with a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics and a Bachelor of Human Nutrition.

She works with children, adolescents and adults experiencing Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), selective eating, sensory feeding challenges, and eating disorders and disordered eating, helping clients find ease and confidence with food without pressure, guilt or rigid rules.

Brianna was drawn to this work through her own experience as a cautious eater, giving her insight into how stressful mealtimes, food anxiety and “just one more bite” battles can feel. Her approach is calm, collaborative and non judgemental, focusing on nourishment alongside confidence and flexibility with food.

In the clinic, Brianna works with both the nutritional and emotional sides of eating, supporting clients to meet their needs while gently addressing sensory challenges, anxiety and social food stress.

Outside the clinic, Brianna enjoys time with her dog Lucy, experimenting in the kitchen (mess included), and searching for Canberra’s best chai.

  • Sue is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, registered in both Australia and New Zealand, with a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics and a background spanning Human Nutrition, Zoology and Secondary Science Education.

She supports women through perimenopause, menopause and healthy ageing, with a strong focus on optimising nutrition during hormonal change. Sue also works with GLP-1 support, gut health and IBS, the gut–brain axis, microbiome health, and general nutrition for women and men.

Sue’s approach is practical, flexible and firmly evidence based. No fads, no fear, and no one size fits all plans. She believes nutrition care should look at the whole person, and works collaboratively to build strategies that fit real lives, real bodies and real kitchens.

Drawing on her background in food education, Sue also helps clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed or uninspired in the kitchen, making nutritious, satisfying food feel achievable again, even if cooking feels like the last thing you want to do.

Outside the clinic, Sue is often walking trails, planning her next adventure, or continuing her very serious search for the world’s best cheese scone (current title holder: Wellington Botanic Gardens).

Jess has a special interest in pelvic floor assessment and education, pelvic pain and painful intercourse (including vaginismus, endometriosis and PCOS related pain), bladder, bowel and continence concerns, and pre and post gynaecological surgery support.

Jess was drawn to women’s health through her own experience of pelvic pain, which shaped her deeply person centred approach to care. She understands how important it is to feel listened to, believed and supported, and focuses on treating the whole person, not just a diagnosis.

Her approach is collaborative, practical and down to earth. Whether you’re preparing for pregnancy, recovering after birth, or navigating those “is this normal?” body concerns, Jess works with you to make physio fit into your life, not the other way around.

Outside the clinic, Jess enjoys quiet nights with her cat Claz and a good book, snowboarding in winter, or paddleboarding around Canberra in summer.

Question Time?

  • Nada, zilch, zip! As part of our quest to make women’s health more accessible, you don’t need that official-looking slip of paper with your doctor’s scrawl on it.

But if you DO have one from your GP or specialist, please send it to hello@hermatters.com.au before your appointment.

  • We do things a little differently here - longer appointments, deeper convos, and no rushed vibes. We're all about care that gets you.

We’re not a bulk-billing bunch, but we do love a GP care plan as it means you can get $98.95+ back on psychology and $61.80+ back on dietitian and physio appointments. Oh, and yes - we run on time (because we know you’ve got places to be).

  • We get it — it’s raining cats and dogs, you’re WFH and the last thing you want to do is trudge on over to Her Matters to see us.

We do need some notice, though, to emotionally prepare for your rejection. 24 hours should do the trick so please make sure you give us that! Plus, it helps us open up your appointment slot to make women’s health accessible to others.

If you miss or cancel your appointment within this 24-hour period, your full consultation fee will be charged because we’ll need the pennies to buy some pick-me-up treats.

Got a Monday appointment? Please let us know that you won’t make it by Friday 3pm before you lose us to Happy Hour!

  • Yes! Even if you're feeling under the weather (or can’t be bothered to face the weather), we want you to have the chance to keep your appointment. Plus, remember that as of November 2020, the Powers That Be approved permanent access to medicare rebates for telehealth services!

  • Boogie on down to Bougainville Street, Griffith where there is both paid and disabled street parking. Get there early and have a coffee at Typica or check out the cute doggies at Wooof Grooming.

  • A GP Management Plan or Team Care Arrangement offers 5 allied health visits per calendar year for chronic conditions which have stuck around for at least 6 months. What chronic conditions are we speaking of? The likes of asthma, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, kidney disease, musculoskeletal conditions and stroke.

With a Mental Health Care Plan, you can receive Medicare rebates for up to 10 psychology sessions per calendar year. After your first 6 sessions, your GP will need to review your progress before you can access an additional 4 sessions.

With an Eating Disorder Plan, you can access up to 40 psychology and 20 dietetic sessions per calendar year. After each 10 psychology sessions, you will require a review from your GP to access a further 10 sessions and so on.

Wondering if you are eligible for these plans? Book now with one of our GPs.

  • Send us an email with your question and we’ll get back to you in a jiffy!
